A succulent ham glazed with a tangy-sweet cranberry sauce is perfect for a holiday feast.
Ingredients:
- 1 (8-10 lb) bone-in ham
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp ground cloves
- ½ cup orange juice
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Line a roasting pan with foil.
- Place the ham in the pan and score the surface with shallow cuts in a diamond pattern.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, mix cranberry sauce, brown sugar, honey, mustard, cinnamon, cloves, and orange juice. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Brush half of the glaze over the ham. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 1.5 hours.
- Remove foil, brush with remaining glaze, and bake for another 30 minutes, basting occasionally.
- Let rest for 15 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
